The 2014 “apc” is dedicated to the former KZ Gusen II concentration camp. More than 300 youths will meet with Holocaust survivors like Sister Joela Krüger (Germany), Dr. Lucia Heilman (Austria), Michaela Vidlakova (Czech Republic), and Mr. Marko Feingold (Austria) and will pray for the victims inside the former KZ Gusen II “Bergkristall” tunnels at St. Georgen/Gusen, Austria for the first time since the end of World War II.

A group of Naturfreunde Steyregg took a whole Saturday afternoon with president Franz Froehlich on November 29, 2014, in order to walk in the footsteps of the former KZ Gusen I & II concentration camps. After a competent introduction by Rudolf Haunschmied in the KZ Gusen Visitor Center, the interested participants went with headsets along Audiowalk Gusen that runs between the Memorial Crematorium KZ Gusen and the former underground factory Bergkristall” at St. Georgen/Gusen, Austria. At the end of the tour, the group lit a candle in silent tribute to the 40,000 victims of the former KZ Gusen complex of concentration camps at the former crematorium.

Filmmaker Andreas Sulzer presented his research findings about previously unknown underground structures in the vicinity of the former KZ Gusen II “Bergkristall” underground plant at St. Georgen/Gusen, Austria to Austrian authorities on November 5, 2014 at distirct headquaters at Perg, Austria. The documents shall now be verivied by an international team of experts under the guidance of the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Research on the Effects of War, Graz, Austria.
