One new monument at "Schleppbahnbruecke" was inaugurated by survivors. It is one of the first in the new commemoration path that will be developped in the next years by the Community of St. Georgen/Gusen.

  • 03:30 p.m. Inauguration of new momument at former "Schleppbahn-Bruecke".

  • 05:00 p.m. Conferring of an order by Austrian Federal Minister Dr. Ernst Strasser at "Moarhaus" Gusen.

  • 05:30 p.m. Local-International Commemoration at newly renovated KZ Gusen Memorial.

The Embassador of the Russian Federation and KZ Gusen I survivor Fjodor Solodovnik commemorate at the new monument at "Schleppbahnbrücke". Roses were exchanged during the commemoration as a symbol of international friendship. Italian mayor giving his speech to the participants.
