Guided Tours to KZ Gusen Remnants

A group of youngsters from Upper Austria on tour on a new section of the commemorative path that was recently opened for the public by the Municipality of St. Georgen/Gusen. French visitors in front of the former main entrance to "Bergkristall" at St. Georgen/Gusen.
Countless groups form all around Europe were guided to the many different locations with remnants of the KZ Gusen I & II complex that are scattered over an area of several square kilometers and not easy to find without a local guide.

Reception of Survivors

Mr. Angelo Ratti, Italian survivor of KZ Gusen II with wife Marisa. Mr. Angelo Signorelli, Italian survivor of KZ Gusen I with wife. Mr. Karl Littner, Jewish survivor of KZ Gusen II with Ms. Jan-Ruth Mills, the American Liaison of the KZ Gusen Memorial Committee.
The survivors and a delegation from Italy was invited by the Municipality of Langenstein to the festival hall of the local primary school after the local-international commemoration. One music group of Sesto San Giovanni and one from the region played for the survivors between extensive talks and discussions about history and their experiences in the Gusen concentration camps with local people.
