This play by Rainer Lewandowski with Franz Froschauer and choir reflects statements of former SS-Obersturmbannfuehrer Adolf Eichmann, who grew up like Adolf Hitler in the nearby City of Linz and who gathered his special command for deporting hundreds of thousands of Jews from Hungary in spring 1944 regrettably in this very specific St. Georgen-Gusen-Mauthausen region. Thousands of these Jews were murdered also along with the construction of the “Bergkristall” tunnels at St. Georgen/Gusen as inmates of Concentration Camp Gusen II.
